Our story
Started with one house on Commerce Drive
Blue Horizon Estates began with a single Elizabethtown rental and a stubborn belief: a rental home should feel like somebody's home, not somebody's afterthought. Twelve years on, we manage homes from the Ohio River to Lake Cumberland — and every one of them still gets the same walkthrough, the same honest listing photos and the same answered phone.
We are landlords, yes — but we are also the people who show up with a wrench, who remember your kids' names at renewal time, and who would rather fix a fence this week than argue about it next month.

The listed rent is the full monthly rent for the home. Lawn care is included on most homes; utilities are in the resident's name unless a listing states otherwise. There are no hidden booking or “platform” fees — ever.
Many of our homes welcome dogs and cats with a refundable pet deposit. Each listing's amenities note the home's pet policy — if you're unsure, ask us before applying.
One application covers every Blue Horizon home. We check rental history, income and references, and most applicants hear back within two business days. If a home is taken, your application can move to another home at no extra cost.
